Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Minister's Remarks on Settlement Expansion

Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the recent extremist statement by an Israeli minister regarding Israeli sovereignty in the West Bank and the construction and expansion of settlements. The Saudi government stressed that such statements would destroy peace efforts, including the two-state solution, and undermine progress toward a peaceful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saudi Arabia emphasized that such rhetoric would fuel wars, provoke further extremism, and escalate the risks to regional peace and stability. The Ministry also pointed out that these remarks were a clear violation of international law and United Nations resolutions, reinforcing the occupation and setting a dangerous precedent for the forceful seizure of Palestinian lands.

Saudi Arabia further warned that the continued international failure to address this issue was beyond the scope of the crisis itself and was now affecting the credibility and legal standing of the international system. The Kingdom expressed concern that this could ultimately jeopardize the survival of international norms and the integrity of global governance.
